Ever wonder what it takes to pass the torch of faith? This week we explored the powerful transition from Elijah to Elisha in 2 Kings 2 - a story about mentorship, humility, and carrying forward God's mission.
Elijah, the introverted prophet who preferred solitude, still made time to train hundreds of prophets. Elisha, the extrovert who wouldn't leave his mentor's side, humbly asked for a "double portion" - not out of greed, but recognizing he needed extra help to live up to his calling. Different personalities, same mission: keeping Israel faithful to the one true God.
Here's the challenge: Are we making disciples? In our isolated, technology-driven world, it's easy to keep faith private. But the gospel isn't meant to stay internal. Whether you're an introvert or extrovert, God calls us to mentor, teach, and spread His truth to the next generation. Who are you pouring into?
