Jesus himself quoted these very words, claiming His divine authority.

Yes, judgment is coming. Yes, tribulation will be hard. But the saints will possess the kingdom forever. We get to rule and reign with Christ in His millennial kingdom and eternal state. The end isn't scary—it's glorious victory for those who belong to Him.

Don't despise prophecy. Hold fast to what is good. The King is coming back.

We can't earn heaven—our works mean nothing. But Christ's work means everything. Justification comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Not by what we do, but by what He did. Humble yourself, trust His sacrifice, and let your works flow from that faith.

Sometimes God's blessings come in the most unexpected packages. In 2 Kings 5, Naaman—a powerful enemy commander—found healing when he least expected it, while Elisha's own servant fell into betrayal. 

The lesson? God's grace isn't limited by our expectations or boundaries. Naaman almost walked away from his miracle because it didn't look the way he thought it should. He wanted respect and ceremony, but God offered simple obedience: dip in the Jordan seven times. When we narrow our view of how God should work, we risk missing His blessing entirely.

The gospel is for everyone—Jew and Gentile, friend and enemy. The people you think are too far gone might be the very ones God is drawing near. And sometimes those closest to faith can stumble. Stay discerning, keep praying for the "impossible" cases, and don't be afraid to love your enemies. You never know what your obedience might unlock.

Daniel faced that choice. When a law was passed forbidding prayer to anyone but the king, Daniel didn't hide his faith or compromise. He opened his windows toward Jerusalem and prayed boldly—three times a day—knowing it meant the lion's den. His faithfulness wasn't quiet or timid; it was courageous and public. And God shut the mouths of the lions.

 

Here's the powerful truth: Daniel's boldness wasn't about him. It pointed everyone—even the king who threw him in the pit—to the one true God whose kingdom endures forever. When we live faithfully, our lives become testimonies that outlast us, pointing others to the eternal God.

 

The same God who delivered Daniel walks with us through every pit we face. What can the world truly take from us when our lives already belong to Him?

Jesus takes what's broken and makes it whole. He takes what's contaminated and makes it clean. And there's always enough—with leftovers.

Here's the question: Do we actually live with this hope? When Jesus taught us to pray "Your kingdom come," He was asking us to long for His return. Are we praying for it? Meditating on it? Or are we so focused on today's battles that we've forgotten we're on the winning side?

God is a promise keeper. The same reliability that brought Jesus the first time guarantees He's coming back.
