Hosea 1-3

Ever feel like you've been unfaithful to God? The book of Hosea reveals a stunning truth: we ALL have. Through the prophet Hosea's heartbreaking marriage to an unfaithful wife, God paints a vivid picture of Israel's—and our own—spiritual adultery.
God commanded Hosea to marry Gomer, knowing she would betray him, just as Israel betrayed God by chasing after false gods and idols. Yet in the midst of judgment comes an incredible promise: redemption. Hosea bought back his unfaithful wife at the price of a slave, foreshadowing how Christ would buy us back with His blood.
The message is clear: whether Jew or Gentile, ancient or modern, we've all fallen short. We've all been unfaithful. But Jesus paid the price to redeem us. His death brought us new life, just as Methuselah's name prophesied judgment, and Hosea's life prophesied restoration.
You were bought at a price. You are loved. You are redeemed.
